Trimming in QuickTime X!
QuickTime X was really stripped down compared to all the features that were in QuickTime 7. One feature that stayed is "Trim". The shortcut "Command - T" will bring up the trimming feature. It fits exactly with the "iMovie" look that is being adopted throughout iLife and the OS.
