Easily changing the icon of a file / application / folder

I was looking for a way to change the icon of an application the other day, and I couldn't believe how the solution was simple. First, I had to find the icon I really wanted. Once I found a file that had an appropriate icon, I did a Command-I (to get info). I clicked on the icon of the file and pressed Command-C (for copy). Trimming in QuickTime X!
QuickTime X was really stripped down compared to all the features that were in QuickTime 7. One feature that stayed is "Trim". The shortcut "Command - T" will bring up the trimming feature. It fits exactly with the "iMovie" look that is being adopted throughout iLife and the OS.

Color Gamma in Mac OS X Snow Leopard
I immediately noticed it as soon as I upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.5, but everyone said I was seeing things.
